Thomas Baglivo founded Baglivo Associates in November 2008. With over 28 years of experience in the Mid Atlantic region providing professional architectural design services for clients which manage, maintain, and plan for commercial, industrial, and residential types of buildings. Thomas has been appointed by GSA’s Commissioner of Public Buildings to serve on its National Register of Peer Professionals for the Design Excellence Program for a 2 year term. Thomas Baglivo is currently a registered architectural professional in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, Florida, Ohio, and Kentucky with registrations pending in DC.

Niki Baglivo has been working at Baglivo Associates since 2013. She graduated from Drexel University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and a minor in Art History. Niki has extensive knowledge in space planning, finish selection, and construction documentation. Niki is also our Studio Director and in-house standards specialist, making sure everything that goes out is up to code and complete. Becoming NCIDQ certified has brought another level of knowledge to the studio!

Samantha Koffler started working at Baglivo Associates in April 2018. She graduated from Drexel University in 2016 with a Bachelors of Science in Interior Design and minors in both Art History and Sustainability in the Built Environment. Since then, she has gained professional experience in space planning, photo-realistic rendering, specifying finishes and furniture, and final drawing audits. She enjoys working collaboratively to develop unique designs and create effective solutions!

Karen DellaPorta brings over 30 years of design experience to the team at Baglivo. She has been with us for 6 years and counting, and brings a fun perspective to each project she touches. Karen is able to identify, analyze, and solve problems in conceptual design through construction, and loves interfacing with clients to achieve their goals. Her broad knowledge of code is an asset to our team!

Lauren Dunne started at Baglivo Associates in November 2021. After graduating from Jefferson University (TJU + Philadelphia University) in 2019 with a Bachelors of Science in Interior Design, she started her career in showroom design, focused on space planning and furniture and finish specification. Ruixi Zheng (Reese) started at Baglivo Associates in March 2022. She graduated from Jefferson University (TJU + Philadelphia University) in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. She started her career at American real estate group, focused on dental office space planning and construction drawings. She is enthusiastic in trying new ideas and learning new things. She believes Interior designing is about creating a better quality of life. She enjoys working collaboratively to create an attractive design for the clients.

Jensen Hall started at Baglivo Associates in April 2022. She graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2022 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design, along with minors in Architecture and Architectural History. She is excited to begin her career at Baglivo Associates and showcase the innovative skills, resources, and education that she gained from SCAD. She believes that design is personal, as it enhances human experience and interaction. The spaces designed are a place to work, live, and play which is why interior design and architecture are so important to her.

Joanna started at Baglivo Associates in February of 2023. She received both her Bachelor of Science in Architecture as well as her Bachelor of Art in Art History from Temple University before moving on to complete her Master of Architecture in 2019. Joanna started her career at a boutique Interior Design firm, focusing on interior architecture renovations, space planning and furniture and finish selection. She brings with her a unique and varied experience having worked and trained in both art, architecture, and interior design. She is excited to collaborate with other designers and bring her holistic approach to the wide variety of projects the team works on.
